YPAC808 Policies

ALL CLASSES

Instructional Time
Classes and lessons are closed sessions.
Parents or Legal Guardians may wait in the lobby/waiting room or pick up child after class.

Student Conduct
Student must always show good conduct.
No foul language and inappropriate behavior to fellow students and/or teachers.
Students not showing good conduct or lack of participation may be dismissed from the class under Instructor’s/Director’s discretion.

Attire
If a student is wearing inappropriate clothing, he/she may be asked not to participate in that instructional day, without refund.

Fees
Fees must be paid prior to instruction by cash, credit card or check payable to
YPAC808 of Hawaii LLC
Credit card payments will incur a processing fee.
Private instruction fees are due monthly at the first lesson of each month.


CHOIRS & MUSICAL THEATRE

Attendance
Students must attend every class and performance.
One unexcused absence may result in dismissal.
If a student must miss a class, a written note from his/her parent or legal guardian must be submitted, at least one week in advance, and approved by the Director.
In case of an emergency, please contact the Group Coordinator as soon as possible.

Musical/Choir Performances 
Students must be available to participate in every performance.
A detailed Rehearsal and Performance Schedule will be distributed at the first rehearsal. Please review carefully to assure your child’s full participation.


PRIVATE LESSONS

Attendance 
Students must attend each scheduled lesson.

Cancellations
If a student must cancel a lesson, communication by a parent or legal guardian must be made to the Instructor at least 24 hours prior to be eligible for a credit or make-up lesson.
Credits and make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are given at the discretion of the Instructor.
If a cancellation was not made 24 hours prior, it will be considered a “no-show” and the students will be charged for the missed lesson.
In case of an emergency, please contact the Instructor as soon as possible.

Discontinuing 
If a student wishes to drop after the first lesson, a refund, minus the cost of the first lesson, will be made upon request prior to the 2nd scheduled lesson.
If a student wishes to discontinue lessons, notice must be given at least 2 weeks in advance.
